Page, web page, website – these three terms look very similar, but mean different things. Here we explain the differences.
Website and web page #
A web page is the term for a single web document of a website on the internet.
A web page is therefore often just a part of a website. Behind every link that you call up, there is a single web page. The homepage, as the start page of a website, is also a web page. If you navigate to another link, you also change the web page.
The article Page, web page, website – what is what? that you are reading here is therefore a web page. The ChurchTools Help, on the other hand, is a website, made up of many web pages.

Page is also often used as a synonym for website. However, whenever we refer to a page in our online help, we mean the page content type of ChurchTools Website.
