With the help of ChurchTools Finance, you can create donation receipts, also called collective receipts, quickly and easily. You can only do this for past accounting years. However, you can create draft donation receipts even before the end of an accounting year. You can identify those by the watermark Draft on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to Donor<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To create donation receipts for a past accounting year or the current draft of a donation receipt, navigate in the Finance module<\/strong><\/em> (1) to the Donors<\/strong><\/em> tab (2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you have the option of creating either all<\/strong><\/em> (3) donation receipts or the donation receipt for a single<\/strong><\/em> (4) donor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Option 1: Create an individual donation receipt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create a donation receipt for an individual donor, find the donor in the list and click on Create donation receipts<\/strong><\/em> in the corresponding line (4 – see above).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This opens the Preview<\/strong><\/em>, where you can check whether the donation receipt looks correct and contains all the required data (1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can switch between the Cover letter<\/strong><\/em> and the Attachment<\/strong><\/em> (2) and choose which Template<\/strong><\/em> (3) to use if you have saved several templates in ChurchTools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If everything is correct, you can Download a draft<\/strong><\/em> (4) or directly the finished donation receipt<\/strong><\/em> (5). Two separate pdf files are always downloaded, the cover letter and the attachment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the donor overview you can download<\/strong><\/em> (1) an already created donation receipt again, create a duplicate<\/strong><\/em> (2) of that donation receipt or delete the already created donation receipt and create a new one<\/strong><\/em> (3) instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
