# Who can work in the area of public relations?

The prerequisite for being able to view and edit the *Public Relations* area is the global Administration permission *Manage Public Relations*. We explain how to assign global permissions on our Academy page [How to give global permissions?](https://staging.churchtools.academy/en/help/permissions-management/assigning-permissions/how-to-give-global-permissions/)

The **collective authorization *Manage public relations* includes**the authorization *Manage public profiles (edit public profiles)* and the collective authorization *ChurchTools website* with the three permissions *View website*, *Manage users (edit website staff)* and *Manage releases (edit website releases).*

**Note**

With the permissions for *public relations* in ChurchTools, you do not yet have access to the admin area of the website. If you are responsible for configuring the website, you must be added to the *public relations* team under *Website* > *Users*. If you start the free trial of the website, you will automatically be added as a website user.
