# Overview Finder

Churches are as different as people are. The [ChurchTools Finder](https://find.church.tools) helps you to find your church where you can get involved, feel at home and grow spiritually. And it helps the churches to find you.

## For you...

- **Search for** communities in your area, at your future place of residence or near your vacation home.
- **Discover** what community in the church feels like and what makes it special.
- **Find out** what current and new opportunities there are to **get in touch** with the community through public services, groups or activities.
- Simply **register** for the next event and **get connected**.
- **Get to know** who you can talk to before you even get there.
- **Find your church** and log in to **your ChurchTools** directly from the Finder so that you can get involved.

You can find more information on how to search for churches on our help page [How to find (my) church with the Finder?](https://staging.churchtools.academy/en/help/website-and-finder/find-a-church-finder/how-do-i-find-my-church-with-the-finder/)

## ... and your community

- **Reach out**to new people and invite them to your church services.
- **Show who you are**, what makes you special and what community looks like in your congregation! Present your community in the app and on the web.
- **Link** your website and your social media.
- **Highlight** your public offers, such as house groups, activities, summer camps or other events.
- Using the Finder, everyone can easily **register** for your public offers and **connect** with you.
- **Introduce** your team and make it easy for new people to **get in touch** with you.
- Help the members of your congregation to easily find their **ChurchTools login**.

We explain how you can create your church's public profile in the Finder in the tutorial [How to create and edit our public profile?](https://staging.churchtools.academy/en/help/website-and-finder/public-relations/7-create-and-edit-profile/)

**Note**

In ChurchTools Finder you will find many churches, especially from German-speaking countries. These churches present themselves via a self-administered ChurchTools system under their own responsibility.
We have already added some churches to the Finder. Of course, we have only used their publicly accessible data.
