# Overview of system settings

In ChurchTools, we give you as an authorized admin the opportunity to make basic system settings individually for your ChurchTools. These settings include **general topics** (church information, campuses, welcome, start page, registration, etc.) as well as some administrative settings for the **modules**, the important topic of **data protection/security** and **communication**. You can find the system settings via the tool icon on the right in the blue menu bar.

## Permissions for system settings and master data

Permissions **for the general system settings** are assigned in the permissions management under "Administration (formerly ChurchCore)".
