# What are the technical requirements for the app?

For smooth operation of the ChurchTools app on your mobile device, you need **Android 8.0** or higher or **iOS 15.0** or higher.

When using **Android devices**, please note that you need Play Services (or alternatives, such as MicroG) to be able to use push notifications. These are installed on the devices by default.
