# Why is it worth closing a group meeting?

Use the *Complete meeting* button to mark a meeting of a group as completed. This protects the information entered from further changes. Of course, you can undo such a conclusion and make changes.

**But why would you even close a group meeting?**

When you create group meetings in a group, you have the option of leaving a**feedback form** for these meetings. When you complete a meeting - regardless of whether you or someone else completes it - this form opens automatically and can be filled out directly.

A feedback form like this helps you to record impressions and developments. You can use it to request a wide range of information and get a good overview of your group's development over a longer period of time.

**Tip**

It is worth creating feedback templates for your groups, using them regularly and reviewing the information collected from time to time. This allows you to quickly and reliably recognize trends, changes and successes.

You can find more information on feedback and group meetings on the [How to configure settings for meetings in my group help page ?](https://staging.churchtools.academy/en/help/churchtools-modules/group-meetings/how-do-i-configure-settings-for-my-groups-meetings/)

**Note**

It doesn't matter whether you complete a group meeting directly in the group or in the check-in - if a feedback form is stored, it opens automatically and you can enter your observations about the meeting.
