## 1. Open calendar module

## 2. Select date and fill in information

Choose the calendar in which the meeting request is to be saved, set a title and time and all other information that is necessary for the meeting.

**Note**

Meeting requests are only available for [group calendars](https://staging.churchtools.academy/en/help/churchtools-modules/basics-calendar/13-what-different-types-of-calendars-exist/#1-toc-title), so the tab ***Meeting requests*** is only visible when you've selected such a calendar.

## 3. Invite persons

Navigate to the ***Meeting requests*** tab, activate the ***slider*** (1) and select all the persons you'd like to invite to the meeting (2). When clicking ***Save*** (3) ChurchTools automatically sends the invitations to your meeting request via e-mail to every person you've selected.

## 4. Respond to invitation

After receiving the invitation, every invited person can respond by choosing between the options ***Confirm***, ***Perhaps*** and ***Decline***.
Open invitations are being shown on the front page as well as on the top left corner of the calendar module.

**Tip**

Group calendars can only be seen by members of that specific group. Meaning you can send every member of that group a meeting invitation as well as to every person who has been granted the additional permission to see the group calendar (i.e. admins).
